A popular feature of comic and anime conventions is costume play, better known as cosplay. Anime, cosplay and Japanese culture fans are expected to turn out in large numbers for AnimeWTX, the first anime convention in West Texas, on Jan. 25-27 at the MCM Elegante Hotel. I made fun of her and she was so offended that she threw the book at me, and said, “Don’t come out of this room until you’ve read it, it’s the best book I’ve ever read,”‘ she recalled.
